Craig Roberts — Director
Key Capabilities: Strategic Asset Management, Asset Information Management
Craig has over 35 years of experience in Asset Management and Information Management (AM/IM) . He has a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies and delivering innovative and sustainable AM improvements for private and public sector clients. His main goal is to enable his clients to make better business decisions, deliver better customer outcomes, and drive organizational performance.
Craig works in partnership with his clients to understand and improve the maturity of infrastructure asset management practices using innovation, digital transformation, best practices, proven business systems, tools, frameworks, and best practice standards. His experience is across industry sectors and includes Asset Management strategy and digital engineering strategy development, AM and AIM maturity assessments, technical due diligence, development of Asset Management Systems and their enabling frameworks (e.g. Asset Information Models, Classification Systems, Location Hierarchies, risk, health, performance, investment), development of Asset Management Plans and decision support tools.
Alex Leyland — Director
Key Capabilities: Strategic Asset Management, Change Management, Business Improvement
Over the past 25 years, Alex has led strategy and analytic functions for organisations as well as consulting to organisations on asset management, strategy, information, digital transformation and analytics.
Alex’s first 12 years were spent working in financial services including insurance, managing strategy, risk using information and analytics to drive improvements. Over the past 13 years Alex has worked in the advisory sector to resources companies, water utilities, councils, and ports amongst others.
Alex’s work experience has spanned multiple asset classes and most of the 39 GFMAM Subject areas. Alex has worked passionately assisting organisations to understand their current maturity and then has worked with them as part of a diverse team to drive
improvement. Alex has worked closely with asset intensive organisations spanning the council, mining, resources, transportation, ports, utility and Government sectors. Alex also brings strong project management, change management, communications and transformation.
Shane Oldham — Director

Shane is a focused and progressive Asset Management and Operations expert with over 25 years’ experience. Benefiting from a ‘hands on’ Engineering Technician background he has a proven track record of enabling clients to drive business improvement through practical and fit for purpose solutions across their operations, planning and strategic functions. He enjoys working in close collaboration with clients and stakeholders to build a better understanding of the problem and co-create solutions through use of best practice, design thinking and innovation.
Shane’s experience in the public sector across utilities and facility management includes Assurance, Maturity Assessments, Asset Management Strategies and associated frameworks, Asset Class Strategies and Plans and associated Decision Support Tools, Asset Condition/Health and Performance Methodologies, Information Management capabilities, Maintenance and Operations framework design and implementation.
Paul Davis — Technical Director, Asset Management / Regional Director Tasmania

Paul has over 30 years of experience in Asset Management with a proven track record of implementing risk-based asset performance and asset management practices for private and public sector clients. He strives to leverage value from data and information, ensuring it supports cost-effective, evidence-based asset management decision-making facilitating better customer outcomes. He works collaboratively with his clients to understand and improve the maturity of infrastructure asset management practices adopting a risk-based approach in line with best practice standards.
Paul’s experience is across a wide range of industry sectors and includes condition-based inspection programs, asset health/criticality/risk frameworks, preventive maintenance optimisation, engineering design, asset lifecycle modelling and business case development for capital investment planning. His executive team leadership experience lends itself to effective communication of asset management improvements across all functions, influencing board-level discussion in asset-intensive organisations.
Jaco Brand — Technical Director, Maintenance Management

Jaco is an experienced asset management professional with extensive experience gained from over 30 years of working in the Manufacturing, Nuclear, Oil & gas, Information Technology and Mining sectors. He enjoys transforming promising ideas into productive and rewarding results, utilising his interpersonal strengths and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. He has an undying enthusiasm to learn and always maintains a mindset dedicated to continuous learning and development.

Cameron Jessup — Technical Director, Water Services Advisory / Regional Director Queensland

Cameron is an Executive Manager and Principal Engineer with 20 years’ experience in the utilities and government sector. Cameron holds Chartered Status (CPEng) and is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ23482), Cameron is chartered in Civil Engineering and in Asset Management. He has a reputation for delivering projects and solutions that cost effectively address problems.
Cameron is a people and project leader with experience in the management and delivery of complex projects and the financial, technical and people management of businesses and teams. His experience in asset management, asset strategy, planning and performance, regulatory, pricing and finance, design, project delivery and operations and maintenance ensures that any issues or problems are thoroughly assessed and considered for impact across an entire organisation. This approach ensures that infrastructure service provision is both prudent and efficient.
Mark Rippon — Associate Director – Asset Management

Mark is an experienced asset management practitioner. Mark specialises in helping asset-intensive organisations develop insights into their asset infrastructure to understand the contribution to customer outcomes and organisational success. Mark excels in helping organisations develop knowledge to understand their challenges while helping to develop capability.
Over the past 15 years, Mark has led and developed planning, decision making and asset performance functions within the water industry and consulting in developing mechanical solutions for client challenges.
Mark is a Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) and is a systems thinker with a strong understanding of the role that advancing technology and innovation can play in helping organisations achieve their outcomes more effectively.
Simon Powell — Asset Management Consultant
Key Capabilities: Asset Management Frameworks, Asset Information Management, Maintenance Management
Simon is a focused and progressive Asset Management and Operations professional with over nine years of experience. Simon is a Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) and has developed several key framework documents to improve asset management maturity. His experience in the transportation, utilities, and local government sectors includes Asset Information System (AIS) implementation, Asset Management audits, life cycle planning and reliability improvement initiatives.
Simon’s strong understanding of sound asset information management practices guiding successful asset management and organisational outcomes means he is well positioned to assist clients in understanding the importance of asset data and information management.
Andrew Swan – Principal Advisor
Key Capabilities: Infrastructure Advisory, Facilitation
Andrew has 20 years of experience in water infrastructure planning, specialising in strategy, asset management, sewerage, drinking water, and recycled water operations. He delivers project-based solutions to solve critical problems in water, mining, and local government sections in Tasmania, NSW, and QLD. He is an experienced facilitator, project manager, designer, and policy developer in various industries and has a unique insight into the role of people, technology, data, and efficiency in water utility operations.
Andrew has achieved his Master of Integrated Water Management and Bachelor Mechanical Engineering, as well as playing active roles in many water utilities in the Northern Rivers of NSW, including holding the position of Chair of the Northern Rivers Water Group, a member of the Rous Water Liaison Committee, the Regional Drinking Water Quality sub-committee, the Drought Management Committee and others. He implemented Drinking and Recycled Water Management Systems at Ballina Shire Council and chaired the Water Quality Committee to oversee Drinking Water Quality and Continuous Improvement.
His award-winning initiatives in NSW include smart metering and water loss management. He also received a highly commended David Abbot Award for leadership in public works (IPWEA NSW). He has 20 years of experience, mostly in water, in areas of strategy, asset management, drinking and recycled water operations, project management, engineering design, and leadership.
Kelvin Hands — Software Innovation Engineer
Key Capabilities: Spatial Solutions, Systems Architecture, Information Management
Kelvin is an experienced Software Innovation Engineer with a strong background in IT operations, compliance, spatial solutions, software development and quality management. He has previously worked as a Spatial Solutions Architect and Remote Sensing Coordinator at Southern Ports, where he managed all integration aspects between different Southern Ports systems using Azure toolsets as well as the live GIS-based frontend, “Virtual Port”, for displaying the data, including asset health, defects, ship locations and land side operational statuses. This platform was used by over 300 internal employees.
Kelvin has also worked as a team leader and full-stack developer, on the Otos Health project, a medical form application for pre-consult patient screening, speeding up the consult process and reducing administration overhead by up to 20% – a saving of 160 hrs per week.
Paul Hart — Asset Management Advisory

Paul has a wealth of experience delivering Asset Management and Information Management projects, developed from technical leadership roles predominantly across the Water, Energy and Environmental sectors. He specialises in harnessing technology, both existing and cutting edge to solve data-based problems and enhance delivery in both one off projects and business as usual processes.
Paul is a highly experienced Information Management consultant with strong data analytics, GIS, database and scripting skills. His professional experience includes custom tool development, geospatial analysis, risk analysis, database development, information management and analytics, data capture, application and web development. He has worked within multinational engineering consultants for over 20 years enabling digital engineering and digital asset management for internal stakeholders and clients across the world.
Chris Roberts — Senior Software Engineer

Chris is a highly experienced Software Engineer and Systems Architect with a proven track record in designing and implementing advanced software systems that bridge desktop, mobile, web, and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms.
