BetterAIM is pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Lancer as Principal – Asset Management and Infrastructure.
Based in Perth, Western Australia, Christian brings extensive experience across the local government and infrastructure sectors, further strengthening BetterAIM’s national capability in asset management strategy, lifecycle planning, and ISO 55000-aligned frameworks.
Christian has more than 17 years of experience delivering strategic and operational asset management outcomes. His expertise spans Asset Management Plans, long-term financial modelling, asset valuations, and maturity assessments, supporting sustainable, risk-based decision-making for public sector organisations. He has successfully led complex infrastructure and building asset projects across Australia, including asset valuations exceeding $1 billion.
Prior to his consulting career, Christian held senior leadership roles at the City of Perth, where he was responsible for advancing asset management maturity across the organisation. His work included leading asset planning functions, infrastructure revaluation programs, capital renewal planning, and the development of corporate asset management frameworks.
Christian is recognised for his ability to translate complex asset data into practical insights and for his collaborative approach in working with stakeholders to improve asset performance and service delivery outcomes.
